iFilm English to broadcast ‘The Billionaire’

Iranian series ‘The Billionaire’ has been scheduled to be on the channel’s playlist, iFilm English website has reported.

The series, produced by Ramin Abbasizadeh and directed by Alireza Amini, will start on December 28, 2016.

‘The Billionaire’ depicts a companionship that takes place between Saeed and Bahador. Saeed is the wealthy owner of a construction company, but it is his wife who indirectly runs everything and makes the final decisions.

For the first time, Saeed wants to take matters into his own hands by hiring a young talented guy named Bahador, whose father turns out to be Saeed's long-lost friend. Tensions grow between the two families as Bahador begins to widen his powers at the company.

Among the cast list are Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Majid Mozaffari, Ramin Rastad, Atefeh Razavi, Alireza Kamali-Nejad, Nima Shahrokh-Shahi, Sahar Zakaria, Fariba Naderi, Narges Mohammadi, Zahir Yari and Saeed Pirdoust.

‘The Billionaire’, made in 2012, is scheduled to replace the series ‘The Water Fairy’, to be broadcast daily at 19:00 GMT (23:30 Tehran time).

iFilm English will also repeat each episode of the drama the following day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00. The series comes in 19 segments.
